In December 2009, AAHA awarded the Robert J. Tashjian V.M.D. Animal Medical Center with a Commitment to Excellence Award for being an AAHA accredited member for 25 years.

AAHA Commitment to Excellence Award: 

Elvis Presley's dog, Getlow, was flown from Memphis to Boston and transported  to West Boylston, to be treated by the hospital.  He lived three months in recovery on the farm and returned to Memphis over 35 years ago.
